Eastleigh VE Day

After the success of “Revelry On The Rec” a celebration and commemoration for 80 years of D Day, Eastleigh VE Day 80 will be bigger and better than before. Expect to see a whole host of vintage vehicles, entertainment and activities, as well as vintage/retro and modern day stalls. There will also be a focus on military charities. There will be entertainment on the bandstand, a licensed bar, hay bales seating area and lots to keep the kids entertained too such as face painting, bouncy castle, vintage fair ground rides and side show games.

Proudly organised by Solent Overlord Executive Military Collectors Club in support of military charities!

With hundreds of military vehicles and reenactors from the Great War all the way through to modern day, accompanied by militaria traders from all over the country, it is a great day out for vehicle enthusiasts and history buffs alike. A great selection of food stands and our onsite beer tent mean you can easily spend the whole day to enjoy the hopefully sunny weather, arena events and professionally re-enacted battles.

Southwick Revival

Southwick Revival is a fantastically nostalgic event commemorating the D Day Landings. Featuring visits to the impressive Map Room at Southwick Park, visitors can indulge in the sights and smells of 1940’s England whilst wandering through the Squires Paddock filled with a vintage fun fair, refuel on home made cake from Ma Attwell’s tea room and marvel at the motorcade rumbling through the village!

Held on the South Coast in the seaside village of Lee on the Solent, Hampshire where we come together for several days of Celebration and Entertainment for the commemoration and remembrance of the 80th Anniversary of VE & VJ Days.

Since starting in 2021 the event is growing and we're back for our third event where will see an amazing Air Display as well as an array of WWII / Post War Vehicles & Living History, Military Charities, Crafts & Pop-Up Food & Beverage Stalls, Funfair, Music, Song and Dance with an air and static aircraft display on both days of the event.
